Of course, you have now started with blogging for sure and thinking about to write your first blog post ever. What to write, how to write, will it attract the audience, will people like it, are some of the terrifying questions that are running through your mind right now and that’s why you are reading this.
No doubt, blogging is kind of terrifying. First blog post never gets easier as there is a lot of pressure of getting it right in anyways. So, this is what you need to retain.
These are the tips and tricks that I personally used to overcome my fears and helped me writing the perfect first blog post!
So, what are you going to do? Do some research and focus on your targeted audience. Before writing, keep in mind who is going to be the bystander. This is where your real traffic comes from.
Surf the internet and search the kind of content your industry is publishing. Read the blog or the articles. Visit the most commented blogs and study the kind of stuff the audience are interested in.
By doing this, you will get an idea about what you should publish according to the needs and desires of your audience.
Some of the writers doubt their ability to come up with an excellent topic and find it hard to choose a topic to write about. Some of the writers write immediately after getting an idea without even giving it a second thought. But some strategies do exist to overcome the stressful situation.
Just think a little and write out the ideas you like on a paper. Done? Now, take two markers and mark them good or best according to your interests, once you finish, relate them to the interest of your audience according to the survey you have done before and make relevancy to them.
All done! At least, now you have something to start with.
Now, the start of level two begins. Open a word document and start composing a brand new post.
Writing with the blogging platform can be detrimental to your focus so use something that you are already familiar of.
This will offer a relaxed atmosphere and help to avoid the possibility of accidentally publishing something that is not yet ready.
Whatever you are going to write, first create a suitable topic to it then proceed further with the body content. It seems like creating a story of what you already know. You should aim to write 500+ words because longer posts generate more interest. Don’t get upset if meanwhile, you required changing the topic a bit. After all, it’s your own creation and you have all the rights to modify it.
Don’t forget to sum up the post after you finish with the body content. Add a short conclusion at the end because it’s important to keeping the whole thing together.
At the end let your audience take some action. Ask them to leave a comment, share and recommend the posts. That’s all!
HAPPY BLOGGING!
