The Elephant and the Rope!

Long ago, a man was passing a village and astonished by seeing a huge elephant with his trainer. He wondered and confused by the fact that these huge creatures are just held by a small rope in their front leg. There are no chains and no cages to hold them. He wondered the giant animal can break the rope anytime and can harm somebody.

He moved towards the trainer and asked why these beautiful and magnificent animals stood as such and didn’t try to get away from the rope.

Trainer said: when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.

The man was really surprised and thought these animals could break free from their bonds any time but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were.
Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before?

Failure is part of learning; we should never give up the struggle in life.

How many of us are being held back by old, outdated beliefs that no longer serve us? How many of us have avoided trying something new because of a limiting belief? Worse, how many of us are being held back by someone else’s limiting beliefs?

Whatever you can conceive and believe, you can achieve!
CHOOSE not to accept the false boundaries and limitations created by the past.

Move On!!!!!!!!!
